Thanks for checking out my page. You may be my friend or you may be some random person checking out what I have to say, but either way I am glad you made it to my blog. I don’t write because I think I have everything figured out. Instead, I want to be able to share what I learn along the way, whether it be something I learn personally or professionally. But I always want to bring things into perspective: we are a part of a bigger story and God longs to get to know us each. He has so much for us if only we could dare to trust him with everything. That’s my goal in what I write…to point you to Jesus.
“I wonder if for many of us, the only thing stopping us from living the life God created us to live- the life of our dreams- is to let go of a life so good that it betrays the great. Are we willing to give up all the things we have right now to be able to obtain that which God longs for us tomorrow?”
Amen, and amen. Blessings – Would like permission to use your Taming the Beast in a workshop I am doing at a ladies retreat next week.

Wow! I am honored that you would want to use one of my blogs. I give you permission to use my post, however, as I have cited DesiringGod please, if you use their material quote them. Thanks for asking again!
Thanks so very much, keep up your writing…it is good.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that encouragement!
Hi there! My name is Cameron and I came across your blog today and had a question about it. 🙂 Could you please email me at your earliest convenience? Thanks so much!
What question do you have?
I enjoy your blog and began following. Thanks for sharing of yourself.
I appreciate your quote above (is that from you, or are you quoting someone else?) – it reminds me of what C.S. Lewis wrote in “The Weight of Glory”:(http://www.verber.com/mark/xian/weight-of-glory.pdf) “… we are far too easily pleased.” Here’s my attempt to speak to that: https://moreenigma.wordpress.com/2015/08/06/the-mystery-that-is-prayer/
Grace to you,
